321 Editing Rule
For the 321 editing rule, I used it near the end of the video (01:07:27 – 01:12:27). I used this rule by having footage of the television and the 2 others of a mother and daughter. The footage with the mother and daughter is not the same since one of them shows a poster talking about their story while the other footage shows a wax figure of them.
Walter Murch’s Rule of Six
I used Walter Murch’s Rule of Six in the third shot of the video (00:10:16 - 00:15:19). The rule that is presented in the footage is Cut for emotion. In this shot, the subject, my sister, turns her head and looks at the camera smiling,Showing that she is happy.
